These hints refer to the Product Number search:

1. The search words can be entered in either upper or lower case.   This applies to both the part number and item description searches.
2. You need to enter the full part number for this search.   For instance, entering part number "AP-100" will return that item, while entering "AP", "AP100" or "100" won't.

These hints refer to the Product Description search.  This search looks in the item description as well as any notes for the item:

1. The search words can be entered in either upper or lower case.   This applies to both the part number and item description searches.
2. You can enter parts of keywords, for instance entering "alum" will return both "alumina" and "aluminum".
3. If you are not sure if a word is plural or not, don't enter the full word.  For instance, entering "wheel" or "whee" will return items with "wheel" and "wheels" in it, but entering "wheels" will NOT return "wheel".
4. You can enter multiple keywords, but make sure that they are separated by spaces.  The order that you enter the keywords does not matter (the same items will be returned with each search).
