CUTTING
Mager Scientific, Inc. has found that selection of the
proper Abrasive Cut off Wheel or Diamond Wafering Blade and Coolant or
Lubricant are critical to sample preparation. Mager Abrasive Cut off
Wheels are available with a phenolic resin bond or rubber bond, range from
10" to 17" in diameter and have a variety of hardnesses to
facilitate proper cutting of metallic specimens. For precise sectioning, try our Diamond
Wafering Blades; available in 3"-7" diameters. Also available are oil and water based Coolants
and Lubricants. |

MOUNTING
A wide variety of Cold and Compression Mounting materials and accessories are available from Mager
Scientific, Inc. Epoxy, Acrylic, Polyester and Polyurethane are among the Cold Mounting materials available. Choose from
several Phenolic, Diallyl Phthalate, Black Epoxy and Acrylic Lucite powders when using hot
or compression mounting equipment for encapsulation. Accessories include plastic and
stainless steel sample clips, mold cups, release agents and stainless steel shot. |

GRINDING
Mager Scientific, Inc. offers a complete selection of
grinding products for metallurgical sample preparation. Available for
the first time in the US, Mager now has Aka-Piatto resin bonded
diamond grinding discs. We have also added a complete color-coded
magnetic grinding disc system and grinding stones to our line of
Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Zirconia Alumina (ZirAl) grinding discs and belts. Mager Scientific, Inc. is the source for quality grinding

POLISHING
Mager Scientific, Inc. carries a complete line of
Metallurgical Polishing products. Our Diamond Pastes, Diamond Suspensions
and Diamond Aerosol Sprays are made from diamonds precisely graded for metallurgical
polishing applications. Alumina Polishing Powders and Suspensions are made
from 99.99% pure calcined Aluminum Oxide. Choose from Magercloth, Tru-Mol, Pan W,
DuraSilk and many other Polishing Cloths to optimize the quality of your
polish. Team our Diamond or Alumina products and Polishing Cloths with one of our
Lubricants or Extenders for optimum metallurgical sample preparation results. |
